At Batchit, accessible from batchit.site, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Batchit and how we use it to provide the best random chat experience.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
1. Information We Collect
Batchit operates primarily as an anonymous chat app. We do not require mandatory registration for our basic features. However, to utilize our VIP filters and "Add Friend" functionalities, we collect minimal data: display names, preferred genders, and country choices. Text messages and chat history are processed dynamically and stored securely on Google Firebase to allow cross-device syncing.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our video chat with strangers platform.
- Improve, personalize, and expand our matchmaking algorithms.
- Understand and analyze how you use our website to prevent bot activity.
- Develop new features such as voice notes and face-to-face calling modules.
- Find and prevent fraud, ensuring a safe environment for online live chatting.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, Batchit uses "cookies". These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. This is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
4. WebRTC and Video Chat Security
When you engage in live video chatting, we utilize WebRTC technology. Video and audio streams are established peer-to-peer whenever possible. Batchit does not record, store, or monitor your live video or audio streams on our servers. Your privacy during face-to-face calling is paramount.
5. Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the Batchit platform immediately.
